Päivitin psp:ni 2.0 versioon ja latasin eboot ja downgrater paketit pspupdatesista.

Kuitenkin norton varoittaa overflow tiffin sisältävän trojan brickerin.

Englanninkielisiltä foorumeilta luin, että se tekee näin myös toimivien zip

pakettien kanssa onko totta?

"Lately we have been receiving emails from concerned users about finding a virus in MPH’s Downgrader file that we host (the file itself being toc2rta's overflow.tif exploit.) The reason it shows up as a virus is due to the fact that a group called ‘PSP Team’ released a program that would brick (break) your PSP by flashing bad data on the firmware of the PSP. Since then, Symantec has dubbed this program Trojan.PSPBrick and companies have added it to their list of viruses to scan for. So to clear things up, the MPH Downgrader is not a virus, nor is overflow.tif. It is on your antivirus software because it found a .tiff file that accesses the PSP's firmware.

We have had over 30,000 downloads of the MPH 2.0 -> 1.5 firmware downgrader with ZERO reports of bricked PSPs.

Also, Dark Killer from our forums has created a program called PSafeP which will scan eboot.pbp files to look for code that could be harmful to your PSP.

Eli päivitys meni ja sain 1.5 masiinan nyt käyttöön.

Norton on kyllä todella pirun vainoharhainen tässä asiassa.

Voisi jopa salaliitoksi tulkita sonyn kanssa kaikki firmisalentajat antaa ilmoituksen.

Asensin n. kuukausi sitten firmwaren 2.0 -> 1.5. Muuten toiminut loistavasti, mutta heti päivityksen jälkeen taustan väri muuttui keltaiseksi (psp:n alkuvalikossa), ja nyt toissapäivänä taustaväri vaihtui itsestään ruskeaksi. Psp:n käyttöa tämä ei haittaa mitenkään, vaihtelu virkistää :). Mistäköhän tämä mahtaa johtua?!
